We'll be meeting at The Ship & Shovell, 1-3 Craven Passage, WC2N 5PH - http://shipandshovell.co.uk/ - reputedly the only London pub split in two, with half on one side of the street and half on the other. We'll probably be either outside or in the main bar, which is on the right-hand side of Craven Passage if you're coming up from Villiers Street.
The nearest stations are Charing Cross and Embankment (Leicester Square is not far away either) and, although the Northern line will be closed, there are plenty of other options. From Charing Cross head down Villiers Street and you'll find Craven Passage on the right opposite Pret A Manger. From Embankment head up Villiers Street and it's on your left.
The plan is to move on to The Harp, 47 Chandos Place, WC2N 4HS at around 8.30/8.45 - http://www.harpcoventgarden.com/ and then The Porterhouse 21-22 Maiden Lane, WC2E 7NA at around 9.45/10.00 - http://www.porterhousebrewco.com/bars-london-coventgarden.php . The Porterhouse usually has live music in the downstairs bar.
All three pubs have outside areas of one sort or another, so that's where we'll be if the weather's fine (there is an alleyway at the back of The Harp which is probably going to be the best bet) but, as always, we may have to be flexible on the night, so please take a note of my phone number so that you can find us if you're going to be joining us later on.
