Raise your heart rate and your spirits on this strenuous, fast-paced hike. Join a naturalist on a brisk morning hike through the Preserve's most elevated trail in about a 5 mile fitness hike.
We'll power walk the hills and walk/jog/run as dictated by the terrain and energy levels. We'll take it easy the first 1/2 mile to warm up the legs. Then we'll hike over the hills at 600 feet elevation and be back down by 10:00am. Anyone who wants to turn around or continue on their own (at any time) to avoid the speedy pace is welcome to. Dogs ok.
