What we’re about

This book club is an attempt to create a platform and a community to bring together free thinking & open minded individuals who are starting to feel or have always had an intense craving for the presence of spirituality in their lives, would like to explore the lessons it teaches us and applying these lessons to improve, elevate and add value to the quality of our day to day lives.

We will meet on a bi-weekly basis and go through well respected books on spirituality from all over the world, only couple of concepts per week to maintain an easy pace, provide enough time to contemplate & digest new concepts as it might result in life changing realisations and can be quite an emotional experience. We also want to remove the pressure of having to complete big chunks of reading before a deadline. We will discuss our views on these concepts, what each of us learned from it, share our experiences related to these lessons and exchange ideas on how we can apply them to our daily lives.

Meeting bi-weekly helps build familiarity, community, kinship and makes it much easier for new members to join in and immediately start participating even if the rest of the group is midway through a book.

We will not be following any contemporary gurus telling us what to think. We will use our own minds, our own collective intelligence & reasoning. We will be our own spiritual guides by exploring the knowledge, intelligence, wisdom & truths that have been passed on since centuries, because they are still relevant.

We are open (but not limit ourselves) to books and authors like Bhagavad Gita, Eckhart Tolle, Buddha, Toltec wisdom, Deepak Chopra, A Course in Miracles, A Journey of Souls, Marianne Williamson etc. etc. Please note that this is NOT a group affiliated to or subscribes to any religion in particular. The idea is to explore various spiritual philosophies, discuss them and apply them to oneself based on one’s own judgement and comfort level.

We intend to stay away from books of organised religions consisting a list of dos and don’ts and that differentiates between men & women instead of encouraging free thinking and letting individuals decide what is best for them! If you fall into the above described psychographic, we welcome you with open arms to join us on this spiritual journey!
