PyHawaii is launching a PyLadies (http://www.pyladies.com/) chapter in Hawaii! This week's Python Weekly will be the PyHawaii PyLadies Chapter inaugural meetup.

"PyLadies is an international mentorship group with a focus on helping more women become active participants and leaders in the Python open-source community. The mission is to promote, educate and advance a diverse Python community through outreach, education, conferences, events and social gatherings.

PyLadies also aims to provide a friendly support network for women and a bridge to the larger Python world. Anyone with an interest in Python is encouraged to participate!"

Python Weekly is a place for aspiring coders and seasoned Pythonistas alike, to learn new tools, best practices, and improve their Python programming skills. This is also a great opportunity for the broader Python community to share what they've been working on.

We strive to cultivate a fun place for Python junkies to hang out, learn and have tons of fun in the learning and growing process.
