19:00 Marija Sorokina, Scientist and Chemist (Beginner)
From the pure laboratory chemistry to the challenging computational chemistry.
In this talk, you will see the journey of learning and using Python to facilitate exploration of biomolecules. The young scientist will show you how she started to use python and Linux scripting for data analysis and automation of her tasks. She started to explore the world of computational sciences during her master’s thesis and she will continue this fascinating quest of learning. Come to see how she tackled the scientific tasks being a beginner in computational sciences, which concepts she learned and how she applied them. The first clumsy steps of today lead to a firm pace tomorrow.
