Adaptive Query Processing in SQL Server 2017
A sneak preview of new query optimisation capabilities in SQL Server 2017. Query optimizer with Adaptive Query Processing can change the query plan if it identifies that the actual row counts are very different from the estimates or update memory grants based on changed requirements. In this session, we will understand these new capabilities and run through some examples. Note that product is in CTP stage and behaviour in release may vary.
About the Presenter
Based in Brisbane, Prabhu Mohapatra is a Microsoft Certified Professional and Data Platform consultant at WARDY IT Solutions.
