Hi again everyone - just a quick correction. We included a personal email address for Thync. People who are interested in demos or in participating in one of their studies should instead email [address removed], or if you have more general questions, you can reach them at [address removed].

Hello everyone!

It was great to see everyone who made it out to BQS18 last week! For those of you who missed it, we had two great speakers and a number of demos. See below for the lineup from this QS meetup, along with upcoming events in QS and related fields. Hope to see you next time!

Darrell Ricke ([address removed]) - presented on an "Integrated Biomedical System" project he is creating. The system integrated genetic (SNPs & Exomes) with health monitors for heart rate, skin temperature, sleep, activity, nutrition, and exposures. Will be available online:

Alan Bachers ([address removed]) - reviewed what neurofeedback is, what it does, what outcomes result, and finished with a couple of spectacular data sets of Pete Estep's telomere analysis, showing that after a couple of thousand total neurofeedback sessions on his own head over decades, his telomere length is at the level of a 49 year-old, and telomere fraying at the level of a teenager - and he's 70!

Thync ([address removed] / - a Neurosignaling wearable (early access signup online)

Revvo ([address removed] / ) - a Smart exercise bike (fitness assessments available)

Tap2 ([address removed]) - an Active Monitoring system (looking for beta testers!)

Darrel Ricke ([address removed] / ) - Integrated biomedical system

Cara Mae ([address removed] / - online platform for randomized experimentation (looking for alpha users!)

Alan Bachers ([address removed]) - neurofeedback system

Upcoming events:

1/20 -- Boston New Technology January Product Showcase #BNT49, 6 pm at MassChallenge in Boston. Get all the details and update your RSVP here. You must RSVP as "Yes" to attend (no walk-ins/guests allowed).
