Bring clothes you’re comfortable moving around in - the front desk can provide you with climbing shoes and chalk, along with your day pass.

You will get a discount on your day pass and free shoe rental if you:

  1. RSVP on meetup.com AND
  2. Mention you're climbing with QuICK at the front desk.

Talk to the organizer if you're curious about discounts on annual passes.

Current rates for day passes/rentals can be found on the CRG Cambridge pricing page.

This location only has bouldering and fitness options - no lead climbing and no top-roping. Routes tend to be challenging at this location, but you'll have a great time and level-up no matter where you're starting from.

Fitness options include a full weight room, a section for practicing crack climbing, a climbing wall treadmill, moon-boarding, and more, so you can improve your game when you’re not on the wall. The gym has both men's and women's locker rooms with saunas, showers, and changing rooms.

MetroRock QUICK climbing night

MetroRock

We are excited to be back and climbing to see old faces and climb with many new ones!

As we come out of hibernation, we would like to remind everyone to stay safe and respect each other's concerns for safety, this is in relation to climbing & the COVID-19 pandemic.

Climbing at MetroRock:
In order to top rope or lead, you must pass their belay test(s). Please be able to effectively demonstrate you can tie in as climber as well as belay with an ATC. You must pass both. Additionally, there are a handful of auto belay stations, if you are new to the sport. MetroRock also has a large bouldering cave and training spaces available. If you are interested in lead climbing, byo rope, and you will need to find a partner to take the test with. You must be comfortable leading a 5.9 with an unannounced fall and demonstrate proper catching techniques.

Remember to name drop! Let the front desk know you are there to climb with QUICK for a discounted day pass! If you need climbing gear, (harness, chalk or belay devices, rope for leading), let us know ahead of time, we can help with some of that!

If this is your 1st time climbing with QUICK, we recommend reaching out to the event host, for the evening. They are usually in a red or blue QUICK shirt, for details for that night (in case folx are running late, where to meet, public transportation info, etc).
