Rough outline of the talk by Aaron:
* Why time tracking is important.
* Demonstration of some tools.
* How to structure time tracking.
* How it works in the real world.
* Reviews and analysis.
* Implications and adjustments.
Aaron ran an experiment of tracking every second of his life for over a year to optimize every aspect of it. He also runs a blog focused entirely on improving life productivity which has become very popular - check it out here: http://www.asianefficiency.com .
Aaron inspired me to time track for 3 months from which I had some very surprising takeaways about where my time was spent (not the same as where I thought it was). There were some great revelations and opportunities to optimize. Personally I feel everyone should try this at least once for a month- if not to change anything, just to become more aware of themselves.
Thanks for all your suggestions about topics to speak on - we have some more stuff planned this year (which hopefully you'll find pretty exciting) - we'll discuss it at the meet.
