If any of you happen to be in or near Manchester on the 22nd April and are up for an talk on pulsar astronomy and physics in extreme pressures and temperatures, the Institute of Physics president Jocelyn Bell is doing a free talk at my alma mater the University of Manchester (Schuster Laboratory) at 7pm.
