Join us on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. to hear Larry Sharpe speak on the topic of The Futility Of The Wars On Drugs & Terror. The event will take place at the Fresco Bar Cafe Restaurant located at[masked] Northern Blvd., Flushing, New York 11358. He will speak for 45 minutes followed by 45 minutes of interactive conversation. Many educated and experienced people are being invited to participate in the discussion.
Larry Sharpe, Managing Director of Neo-Sage® Group, Inc. and Candidate for the 2016 Libertarian Party Vice Presidential Nomination, may very well be the New York Libertarian Party's next Gubernatorial Nominee and he has his goals set on obtaining 50,000 votes for the first time in the parties history.
Mr. Sharpe is a University of Maryland alumnus and is a Guest Instructor at Columbia’s Graduate School of Business. He served as a US Marine for 7 years, after which time he was honorably discharged. He became an English teacher before ultimately entering the business world. Mr. Sharpe founded Neo-Sage, a training and consulting group, in 2004.
While we will pass the hat, there is no mandatory donation. However, all attendees must purchase $10.00 in food and drink over the two hour period. Lunch will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Gyro World for those who wish to join us. There is plenty of street parking. You can travel there by taking the Q12 bus out of Main Street, Flushing (7 Subway Line) or Q76 bus from Jamaica that runs down Francis Lewis Blvd. (exit at Northern Blvd. and walk a few blocks west). In addition, you can take the Long Island Rail Road from Penn Station or out of Woodside to the Auburndale stop. Woodside to Auburndale is only a 15-minute ride and Fresco Cafe is a short two-block (4-minute) walk from the station.
