Queers-Giving Keg Party and Homebrew Judging Extravaganza!!!!!!!
Party starts at 3pm
Food is on the table at 5pm

REQUIRED: Food Spreadsheet ( - tell us what you will bring.

If you are not signed up for food by Thursday we will assume you are not planning to attend and will remove your RSVP. We must do this in order for us to know what accommodations we need.

It's happening, it's here, it's queer, and it will have hella kegs. Queers-giving is our biggest party of the year. Remember last year when we had 12 different homebrews and that weird pumpkin beer contest that started after everyone was already kinda drunk (live and learn)? I do and it was so awesome. This year we will be at Kate's NEW place and it's carpeted so it's sure to smell like beer until next year. JK, we will be mostly out in the yard.

Nov. 19th, 2016 will be even more awesome. We have three beers made at the September brew-off. Three beers that will be judged and scrutinized by all who attend. One winner will claim all the glory. We will be kegging half of each batch and bottling the other half for you to take home if you so desire.

Contest Beers On tap:
*Deschutes Jubelale clone - 7.9% abv
*Black Cherry Cordial Porter - 5.3+% abv
*San Diego session ale - between 4 and 4.5 % abv

Other beer on tap:
Probably a Pale Ale - probably 5.8%

Here's how it works - Everyone brings a dish to share and we feast. Scoresheets will be provided for contestable tastings and you can and should participate before having ten beers. We know you. Bring your friends, queer or not!

We are making a donation to support the Standing Rock Sioux and their fight to protect their land and water from the Dakota Access Pipeline. Your purchase of 6-packs and contributions for keg beers will be donated here:
Standard cost is $1 per keg beer and $10 per 6-pack but please, if this important cause tugs at your heart strings, give as much as you would like .
Our pint glasses are in! We also have a new shirt design! These will be on hand for your purchasing pleasure.

Queers Makin' Beers isn't just a homebrew club. We stand for social justice. We stand against sexism, homophobia, racism, transphobia, the gender binary and misogyny. We want more queers to have access to brewing equipment and knowledge. That's what makes us the raddest group around.

QMB Pint glasses are here!
