GoogleVis: Dynamic charts with R and the Google Chart Toolkit

Meeting will be held at the Campus Library Bergheim (with the help of the Pythonistas, thanks!).

- Introduction to Google Charts - Maik Röder

- The R googleVis package - Friedrich Schuster

The googleVis package provides an interface between R and the Google Chart Tools.

Google Charts are interactive and dynamic charts for web pages.

We will have a look at the background and motivation behind Google Chart Tools, then explore the features of the  googleVis package.
