What applications do you currently use R for?

I am using R for markov chain modeling of various processes, and for general probability modeling of enterprise risk and other such things.

What topics would you like to see covered at our Meetups?

Bayesian inference.

Would you be willing to host a talk on your area of expertise?

Eventually, when I am an expert, but I don't want to overestimate my abilities until I make that transition! ;)

Hi! I am a doing my Masters in Statistics at CSU East Bay, and I want to join this group to learn from some masters of R!! I mean SAS is sort of okay, but R is Statistical programming in the abstract, and abstraction is good.
