  • Actively communicate customer feedback to Sales and Marketing.
  • Support product demonstrations at trade shows, seminars and other events.
  • Participate in training courses, support and consulting engagements as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% in support of on-site customer evaluations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient R programming skills.
  • Proficient in SQL with some experience in creating and using stored procedures.
  • Understand the purpose and basic inner workings of a database appliance, ideally Netezza.
  • Experience in developing and presenting technical subject matter.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a consulting/client-facing role including some interaction with enterprise IT, system integration, and development in both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Some experience with at least one other commercial data analysis package such as SAS, SPSS, Stata, JMP, or Matlab.
  • MS in Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Additional experience a plus with one or more of the following: Hadoop, Talend, Ab Initio, PMML, BI tools, web services, cloud computing, other programming languages (e.g. C, Java, Python).
