Let's start an hour earlier since it will be 85 degrees by 2:00!

Less miles and more moderate pace of the M & M ride through Washington County: 53 miles of pastoral pleasure with flats and rolling hills! WHO IS THIS DESIGNED FOR?
This ride is for Intermediate riders who are looking for a moderate workout/training ride; and can sustain a pace of 14-16 MPH on the flats (everyone climbs at their own pace). Please download the cue sheet, know your bail-out options or have a plan B if you decide the ride is more than you bargained for. It is up to you to assess and plan accordingly.
Start time may change if weather is hot. Leaders reserve the right to make adjustments to schedule, route, etc. so RSVP to stay updated on any shifts or updates.

RIDE DIFFICULTY:
• Roadways: Primarily Rural Roads (no bike lanes, vehicles & trucks)

• Pace - Moderate (14-16 MPH on the flats): stops as needed

• Terrain: Flat + rolling hills

SWEEPER: No sweeper regroup at turns

RESTROOMS AT THE START: yes, and along the route.

• Food (lunch stops are not planned, unless specified in comments below. Please eat a good breakfast before the ride, have snacks and eat on the ride; tip: have snack ready after the ride).

REQUIRED: Helmet (no more than 5 yrs old, recommended), flat repair kit (inner tube, tire levers, pump or CO2). No ear buds. Your bike must be in good working order. If you have a flat or mechanical issue, we may be able to help you, but not always. Please be prepared with a well-running bike. All riders need to sign a waiver.

WEATHER: Generally, we don't ride in heavy rain. ALWAYS check back for updates ON THE DAY OF THE RIDE. Changes will be posted IN COMMENTS (below) no later than 2 hours before the start time.
