Winter Equipment Auction!!!

Here is your opportunity to pickup some good stuff at a fair price or to sell some of your old stuff and help out the club!

To sell:
Bring your used equipment and/or gear to the meeting and attach a sticker or tag with the fair market value (FMV*) on each item you are selling (we will have stickers/tags and markers at the meeting). 35% of the SELLING PRICE will be deducted from the sale and go to the club, the rest is yours to keep. You can find an FMV* guide at http://www.vandreel.com/resources/CHARITABLE_DONATIONS_VALUATION_GUIDE.pdf

To buy:
Show up with a CHECK (sorry, no cash can be accepted).

Meet your new ski/boarding buddy! If you want to carpool with us this season, you need to come meet some of us!!!

Learn about trips, lift ticket discounts, instruction, racing, hiking, and our amazing lodge in central Vermont.

Play free Foosball, pool, shuffle board or darts.

Come to a meeting (maybe buy a drink at the bar at a good price) and introduce yourself to the person* closest to you and next thing you know you will be in the middle of 6 degrees of snow-mazing separation.

Thursdays from September to April, the snow networking location is at the Knights of Columbus (KofC) in Ramsey, 8 PM.

Park across the street in the train station parking lot. Many meetings have special speakers or activities, so keep an eye out for costume parties, equipment lectures, and amazing stuff.

FYI: Attendance varies (20-50 people usually) and represents only a small fraction of our 200+ membership base. There will always be lots of dedicated skiers and boarders who are not on meetup.com who are in the official Ramapo Mountain Ski Club. Members vary in age (8-80 year olds come to meetings), ability, availability (schedule wise), and martial status (aka dating wise) - but everyone is looking for the perfect snow partner ;0)

*For first timers: ask for Karen, our President, Adam (that's me) or Anyone else to answer questions and connect you to others in the club with shared interests.
