There will be a demo of ROS (Robotic Operating System). We will cover installation, robot setup and navigation. Everything will be done in simulation using Gazebo. Please bring your laptop or PC with Ubuntu 14.04 or 16.06 pre-installed. If you need help setting up linux then show up to Robomo's table at First Friday at the Science Center and we will try to help. If any one has extra keyboards, mice, powerstrips or cables then bring them. Someone always forgets something so it's good to have a couple extras. If you bring a PC you will need your monitor and any cables. We don't have anything onsite but power and internet.

Monthly meetings typically consist of presentations TBA on various topics of robotics and engineering with a "Show and Tell" and the occasional robot contest. Bring your project (in any state of completion) for show and tell or to ask for help. Meetings are generally focused around Arduino, Raspberry Pi , computer vision, Robot Operating System, circuit board design, amateur radio, high altitude balloon launch and robots of course.
