Join us on May 22nd for my docker-compose presentation. We'll go over the simple steps you can take to make good use of it, and some less simple ones for some extra mileage. Hope to see you there!
You've probably heard about or even done some docker by now. Until about a month ago docker's usefulness came to an end for me whenever more than one container was needed. Getting them to see each other on the network, share volumes, know when the others were up or down - it all required a level of docker I did not posses. That all changed when I was introduced to docker-compose at work. I am now able to have entire farms of containers doing various tasks(db, message queue, webserver...), all stood up in sync, sharing resources as needed and able to ping each other. And even better - you can too! Hope to see you at the meeting!
