Kiva City Richmond Reunion

Kiva and Capital One invite you to the "Kiva City Richmond Reunion." Come celebrate the local entrepreneurs Kiva and area trustees and supporters such as Capital One, United Virginia, BrandSync, Abaca Business Plans, Gangplank RVA, Advantech, Producia, and others are reaching through this and other innovative programs. Program Overview: Current and potential Kiva Zip Trustees (endorsement organizations for Kiva Zip Loans) and local small business owners and others are welcome to join for an opportunity to hear about the great progress that has been made with Kiva City Richmond. Small business owners will have the opportunity to share their stories and their products, along with lessons learned from bringing Kiva’s unique lending platform to RVA.

The Kiva City Richmond program was launched in July 2013 with the goal of bringing the power of microfinance to small business in the Richmond area, ensuring the continued development of our city and its people. Now eight months in the making, Kiva and its supporters hope the success stories and early lessons learned, will inspire a continued movement to make real change in the lives of people locally at this unique celebration!

    It was an excellent, well attended event hosted by Capital One and Kiva. The exhibiting borrowers and enthusiastic supporters showed what a great community initiative the Kiva Zip program has become in RVA and Charlottesville.
