RainbowPHOENIX is group for fun-spirited individuals to come together, build strong community & amazing friendships. We value diversity and are LGBTQIA inclusive, for singles, couples and families. This is a group for people who are positive, open minded, adventurous and energetic!! Focusing on similarities, your age and occupation are secondary to the smile and enthusiasm you can bring to our group!! Our events encompass a wide range of fun stuff, including happy hours, cozy coffee meetings, volunteer opportunities, sports in the park, yoga, arts, movies, and dining out. Yoga Nidra~ IN PERSON Studio & Online Zoom Class!

Yoga Nidra provides the body, mind and soul the space that it needs to heal, integrate and recharge.

Yoga Nidra is an excellent use of an hour for relaxation and general stress relief, but certain techniques within the practice can lend themselves to target specific mind, body and soul concerns.

YOGA NIDRA is a guided meditation, a closed-eye practice.

YOGA NIDRA is a magical practice that anyone & everyone can benefit from!

NO prior yoga experience necessary--perfect for beginners!

You don't need to be bendy or athletic.

Join me for an amazing Yoga Nidra...deep relaxation, class!

Yoga Nidra is yoga practice that dates back thousands of years but is just now becoming known in the Western world. This technique is a combination of alert awakeness and deep relaxation.

We begin practice with some gentle movement, then the body becomes completely still and the mind quiets. Here you will leave the waking state, pass the dream state and settle into a state of deep sleep--yet remain awake and alert. It is here that your mind & body can balance.

One hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2.5 hours of deep sleep. You will leave feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and de-stressed! This is a fantastic way to start your week in a refreshed and positive way! Our class will be 60-75 minutes.

*No prior yoga experience needed, great for a beginner wanting to begin a yoga practice

*Great for athletes who perform strenuous workouts

*Stress-reduction & improved sleep are key benefits of Yoga Nidra

*Benefits of Yoga Nidra include: relief from general stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, addictions, chronic pain, insomnia, fatigue or illness

*Yoga Nidra can enable your body release resistances on an emotional/mental level, which allows your body to heal physically, mentally and emotionally.

Yoga has so many benefits for mind, body & soul! This class is suitable for all levels—beginner to advanced.

We will incorporate strength, balance & flexibility in this movement class, using simple yoga postures & breath to transition from one posture to the next.

No experience or flexibility needed! This class will be perfect for those looking to try yoga for the first time, as well as more seasoned yogis. Options will be given so that all feel supported & challenged at their own level.
