(THIS IS NOT A MEETUP BUT JUST A NOTICE OF THE EVENT)
Square dancing is friendship set to music
Weekly Club Danceshttp://www.capitalsquares.org/images/RedDancingCouple.jpg We dance on the first to fourth Tuesdays of every month at Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness Center, 8300 Health Park, Raleigh, NC. From late May to September we dance Mainstream and Plus from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. View a recent weekly club dance video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FutwBJEqf4).
We dance both Mainstream and Plus levels of Western-style square dancing. We add line dancing on the second and fourth weeks of the month. Visiting dancers are always welcome.

The Capital Squares square dance club dances at both Mainstream and
Plus levels on Tuesdays nights, four times each month, all year long.
Each week 45 to 50 club members attend to socialize as well as
concentrate on square and line dancing.
Greg Jones (http://www.sqdancing.com/greg), who has many years of experience as a caller, calls for our
club and for several other clubs in the area. He has recorded on Platinum
Records and calls for a number of square dance events in and around North
Carolina. Greg is a great instructor who calls fun, entertaining dances and
who really excels at singing calls.
In addition to square dancing, we have line dancing twice a month. Our line
dance leader is Dianne Brown. Dianne also has years of experience and
leads at many other events.
Visiting square dancers are welcome to join us for occasional free visits.
Club members each pay $16 per month to cover costs.
During the last two Tuesday dances each September, the club host open
houses with refreshments and free dancing for anyone interested in learning
more about square dancing. The club sponsors a series of beginners’ square
dance classes starting the first Tuesday of October. Each week you learn two
or three new calls as well as review the previous calls. After a year you will be
introduced to 100 calls. As with any new skill, the more you practice, the more
masterful you dance.
