Christmas Party (pot luck/dirty santa)

  • Dec 8, 2012 · 6:00 PM
  • Erik's House

We will begin the night with a pot luck dinner. So bring your favorite Christmas food and post what you are bringing. Afterwards we will decorate yummy Christmas cookies, exchange our dirty santa gifts, play some party games, and probably watch some claymation Christmas movies while drinking some delicious hot coco (w/ marshmallows)!

If you are not familiar with Dirty Santa (aka White Elephant) then you can read about it here (http://dirtysantarules.blogspot.com/) and here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_elephant_gift_exchange). The basic concept is that you bring a wrapped gift that is under $20 but does not necessarily have to be purchased. This is great for re-gifting or for getting rid of something completely useless but it is fun to have a few good gifts in the mix. There is kind of a game involved where we go through turns of exchanging gifts in order to get the most desired gift.

So bring one wrapped present per person and some contribution to the pot luck dinner.

Merry Christmas!
