D&D: Adventures

Please join us at The Gamer’s Armory every Tuesday Night for D & D: Adventures from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

You are not required to participate each week to be a part of it so please, feel free to join us any week you are available to do so! Be sure to RSVP on Meetup if you plan to attend; the tables fill up quickly!! The link is as follows: http://www.meetup.com/Raleigh-Tabletop-Roleplayers/

What is D&D Adventures?

D&D Adventures is RTR's evolution from D&D Encounters. Modules, Dungeon Adventures, and scenarios all come together to allow players to go beyond just the third level. Characters can be used from one adventure to the the next for an epic adventure unlike anything but a home game is able to supply. We utilize 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons rules and resources.

What Do I Need to Play?

In order to participate in the D&D Adventures campaign, you’ll need the same things you’d need for any other D & D Game (Player’s Handbook, Dice, Character Sheet), plus a few other things.

If you don't have time to create your own character, don't worry, we will have Pregens available for you!

You’ll need to get a DCI number to play. You can obtain a DCI number when you attend your first D&D Adventures Event if you do not already have one.

You’ll need to print out your first adventure log and advancement tracker. Both of those documents can be found in the RPGA Character Creation Guide, available on the Living Forgotten Realms website - http://www.livingforgottenrealms.com/

You might also want to have a copy of the Forgotten Realms Player’s Guide and have a subscription to D&D Insider. Both of these introduce tons of new options for your character!

Let us know if you need a Forgotten Realms Player's Guide if we don't have any in stock and we will be happy to get one ordered for you. You may also want to sign up for D&D Insider at wizards.com/insider.

Hey everyone, just moved back into the area and have been looking for a 4e game to join. Would it be okay to drop in for one of these sessions? If so, any specific character creation rules, or just a 1st level sheet and some dice? To be clear, I don't want to interrupt an established group, just looking for an open game. Thanks!

(Posted this in the Encounters event thread too, just trying to cover all my bases)

Welcome and it's always good to see new faces :-) There are no special rules for character creation other than you will want to make one the right level for the table youbwant to play at
