** Message me if you want to come for the hike and take a chance on dinner on the day - always room for a few more walkers!**

Join us and work up an appetite for a Sunday roast with this 21.5km brisk walk with 220m of ascent.

We will meet at the station and then set off through the town centre and up to Pewley Down. It is quite a steep street up! It is amazing how quickly we feel like we are away from it all as we head up to St Martha's Hill. Heading down the hill we will cut through some lovely open farmland, past Albury with it's amazing church and into the village of Shere. It is such a quaint little village and about half way through the walk so we will have a short stop for snacks here.

We will then start our loop back through some picturesque little hamlets - Brook & Little London and then we will cross Black Heath forest and then back into Guildford ending up close to the way and our roast at The Brittania.

Terms and Conditions
The organisers are keen hikers and have wilderness first-aid, but do not put themselves forward as guides or experts. The meeting places and travels times and trains are provided for your information but no service is provided nor obligation taken by the organisers. There is risk of injury, even 'just walking'. You must take care to minimise that risk and you are responsible for your own safety at all times. No duty is accepted nor liability assumed. You are encouraged to have some navigation skills and to consider and prepare for the likely conditions that may arise during a hike - i.e. weather conditions worsening or daylight running out.

Cancellation
If you sign up but can no longer make it, please change your RSVP to give others a chance to sign up. We will be booking restaurants so it is common courtesy to let us know if plans change so that we can amend booking accordingly. Members who ‘no show’ or cancel at the last minute on 3 occasions in a row, thereby preventing other keen participants from taking their place on the hike, will be removed from the group. Cancellations 7+ days before the event will be refunded or switched to another event.
