Trail running is half running, half hiking... it's speed hiking! And it's a lot of fun, and so are we. We mostly run in the Waitakere Ranges which has fantastic tracks and views out to the west coast, and dozens of tracks from easy gravel to extremely rugged with mud and tree roots everywhere. The harder tracks need agility and concentration which is a fun way to build confidence and skill.
Everyone is welcome to join this group. You'll need a little fitness to keep up but it's more about having a good time becoming more agile than endurance. Trail running can be physically and mentally demanding and takes some preparation... that's why it's fun!
