Maker Day

Greetings Pi Makers,

Now that I have a bit more time now to co-ordinate things, it's time to start thinking about our next meetup.

I'd like to hold a Pi 'Maker' day were Maker's of all ages and abilities can work on their Pi related projects together. Whether it's flashing linux on your sdcard, wiring up extension plates, or working through a game programming tutorial with your daughter, this will be a great opportunity to get started!

I'm thinking a early weekend in November, perhaps a Saturday or Sunday afternoon? What does everyone think?

This would be good ... especially since there won't be a Mini Maker Faire in Toronto next year.

A bit late now for early November meetup. Is a meetup still in the planning stage for this month?
