Is The Climate Change Movement Doing The Right Thing? 9/14/14

There are going to be  marches in cities all over the planet on Sunday, September 21st related to climate change.  I have scheduled the Rationalist meeting to be at the Americans United picnic at that same time, but I should move that if a lot of people will be attending the St. Louis climate change march.

Please let me know if you intend to attend the climate change march on Sunday, September 21st, in downtown St. Louis (I think).

During this Sundays meeting we will discuss whether the climate change movement is doing the right things.  How many of the people marching in the streets will have drastically reduced their use of fossil fuels?  And what are they asking our leadership to do?
I know some of the reasons why there hasn't been more change  in peoples habits when it comes to fossil fuel usage - 1) change is hard, and 2) Americans, on average, aren't doing well financially, and3) liberals like me have not put together sustainable energy devices/systems that convince John Q. Public to buy/use sustainable energy devices instead of fossil fuel devices/systems.  Yep, I blame the liberals.  This is our chance to get rich, empower our fellow little people, and drastically reduce the use of damaging fossil fuels, and we are BLOWING it.
Show up and debate!
