I am a food and nutrition enthusiast—always reading and learning about good nutrition! :) I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian since 1991 who eats a little sushi and crab maybe once a week or two but in the past year have been refining my diet even more by dabbling in raw food and cutting out processed food!
I would love to meet like-minded people to learn from and share with!
I love cheese and wine. Oh, yea, and sushi and crab! Salad dressing are also a challenge. I would also love to make my own salad dressing because I don't want to eat processed anymore but have not liked any of the recipes I have made so far. Also, and very seriously, I would love to learn how to eat more vegan/raw without all of the calories/fat. So many recipes call for nuts, oils, tahini, avocados, and salt which I love but cannot eat that much of without gaining weight! You cannot eat salads all of the time! P.S. I have found a great vegan cheese now Daiya that is helping my plight!
My favorite recipe is for Atlantian Avocado Pasta. It 's basically zucchini pasta with pico de gallo and an avocado sauce! It is outstanding! My American diet boyfriend even loves it!
