I read a book title, Detox for Women, and it really changed my perspective of how food works in our bodies and why it is so important to cleanse on a cellular level and then build. I know the Standard American Diet (SAD) can really make us sick and I want to change things for myself, my daughter, and hopefully all of my friends and loved ones.
I am looking to share ideas, recipes, resources for information, and also to meet new and interesting people.

I really love my green smoothies and juice. There is also a raw treat called "Pumpkin Pie Revisited." It's a mix of carrot juice, sweet potatoes, and avocado with pumpkin pie spice.
