    I am so glad I went to today's pot luck! The food was DELICIOUS, I learned a lot, the movie was great......the company was exceptional and location was great so all around I HAD A GREAT TIME! Thank you for organizing it, Lynn, and anyone else who played at part in putting this together. I am most grateful.........MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! HAPPY NEW YOU!

    Thanks for taking a photo of my tartlets. I forgot to bring the recipe for the tartlets. Here it is, almost as found in Matthew Kenney's [i]Entertaining in the Raw[/i] -- Empadinhas de queijo (Cheese empanadas) SHELLS Pine Nuts, 2C soaked 1-2 hours Nutritional yeast, 2T salt 1/2 t water 1/2c Pulse nuts in a food processor; add other ingredients; blend until smooth. Spread in small plastic-lined tart shells; dehydrate 24 hours. FILLING Coconut meat, 1/2 c cashews, 2/3 c soaked 1-2 hours Irish moss 1/3 c (did not use) water 1/4 c salt, 1t nutritional yeast, 1t lemon juice, 1T yellow pepper powder, 1T (optional) dried oregano, 1/2 t Blend all ingredients except oregano in a Vitamix. Mix until completely smooth. pulse in oregano. Place into tart crusts Serves 4-6
