Hike - Pawtuckaway State Park - Middle Mountain

Join us for an hike to Middle Mountain in Pawtuckaway State Park.  Middle Mountain is not as high as South Mountain but is a nice hike that offers a different view of the park.  The hike  takes about 1 hour each way.  Please be prepared for walking around rocks, roots and wet areas and there will be some steep slope.

We will return around sunset, so a flashlight may be handy to bring along.

We will meet across from the Pines Restaurant on Route 27 in Raymond at the Riverside Park area by the river.  We will then caravan or car pool to the intersection of Reservation Road and Tower Road in the park.

Please note that Reservation Road is a dirt road and there is no parking area.  Parking is along the road.   Please bring water and a snack. Please wear appropriate footwear for trail walking.  Walking poles may be helpful.   Please call me with any questions, at[masked]

Note, we are meeting at Riverside Park on Route 27 across from the Pines Restaurant, not the Riverside Park on the Sundeen Parkway.

Am I right, Jan, that leashed dogs are not permitted until after 10/27?
