Everyone has seen React in action. If you have used Facebook, Instagram, Airbnb, Dropbox, or IMDb, then you have used React.

Our teams at Call-Em-All and TourConnect created the popular open-source library Material-UI (http://www.material-ui.com/#/), and we use React every day.

Morry Kang (http://www.tourconnect.com/blog/introducing-morry-kang-software-engineer/) will take us through getting React up and running, so come learn about what makes React such a popular library to use when building applications. React is built on web development languages, so it will be useful if you know some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Bring your laptop with your favorite text editor, dig into the React docs (http://facebook.github.io/react/) to get started learning, and come ready with questions that we can tackle together.

Pizza/drinks at 6:15pm and feel free to stay later for more conversations and to celebrate International Women's Day (http://www.internationalwomensday.com/)!
