Calling all musicians!
This meetup is a chance for local musicians who are or aren't currently practicing to come together and 'geek out' on music stuff! I'm not aiming to focus on gigs and attending concerts (but of course, we can do that too), but more to provide an opportunity to meet musicians and start your own practice sessions, bands and even performance groups.
Please feel free to post live music events in case anyone wants to attend with you and of course, let us know if you're playing anywhere so we can come and cheer you on.
In case you aren't aware, there is an organizer subscription associated with running this group which I've been taking myself in the opening months however would like to ask for some support with this as we grow and meet more regularly.
Can I ask that each meetup you attend, you give me a £1 sub. This works out at approx. £9 a year in regular subs (booked jam spaces will vary) and will help me to keep the group going. This will all be added to the group finance sheet after each event and if I start building up funds above my costs, please be assured that this will be fed back into the group and not into my pocket :)
