CANCELED April REIA Berks Meeting CANCELED

Inn At Reading

Our April meeting has been CANCELED due to coronavirus concerns. We hope to reschedule commissioner Leinbach real soon and we hope May's meeting goes on as scheduled. Christian Y Leinbach, Berks County Commissioner, will speak to current and proposed county projects of interest to real estate professionals. There will then be a Q&A. I know my first question will be what a potential reassessment will mean to residential and commercial real estate. NEW FEATURE!!! The board meetings will be held at 6pm before the regular meeting for the rest of the year. Our board meetings have always been open, but members rarely come. We hope this encourages members to come early and sit in on our discussions and help shape the future of the group. The Real Estate Investors Association of Berks County will meet at our regular day and time, the first Tuesday of the month (except July and December) on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at 7pm at the Inn at Reading. The speakers start at 7:30, but come at 7pm to network and get your questions answered. First meeting is free. After that our yearly fee is $125, $110 if you elect to receive the newsletter via email. That includes the meeting room costs, Pennsylvania Residential Owners Association dues, monthly informative newsletter and other perks. We pro rate that based on the meetings left after your first free visit. Please leave time to come to the after meeting at the Publick House at the Inn at Reading. www.reiaberks.org www.facebook.com/reiaberks FYI: Most of our membership knows that our meetings are the first Tues of the month at 7pm, except July and December, so they do not rsvp on Meetup or FB. We would like to know if you are coming though. We are averaging 40-50 attendees at each meeting.
