By popular request, I've organised a trip to see Captain America 2, the trailer for which is here:
From the Cineworld website:
"The first avenger teams up with The Falcon to unravel a sinister conspiracy in this thrilling sequel. The modern world has come as quite a shock to Captain America (Chris Evans). During 'Avengers Assemble', he was astonished to find that S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) had not been entirely honest. Two years on from the events of that film, he's bonded with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) but still struggles to find his place in the 21st century. Now his misgivings about S.H.I.E.L.D. multiply when senior agent Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) reveals a rather troubling agenda. As our clean-cut hero becomes embroiled in a dark political conspiracy, he teams up with soaring superhero and kindred spirit The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to take on the mysterious Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). Inspired by classic conspiracy thrillers of the seventies, this eagerly anticipated Marvel superhero sequel blends awesome spectacle with provocative moral complexity."
I'm setting the date as Wednesday April 16th. The screentimes aren't up yet but the previous week has plenty of showings: http://www.cineworld.co.uk/whatson/captain-america-the-winter-soldier?cinema=56&date=all - I'd vote for 19:30 or 20:20.
The plan will be to either meet in the cinema lobby or to meet us in the pub for a pint and/or dinner beforehand. The pub I suggest we meet at is the Wetherspoons on Broad Street.
If you have an Orange Wednesday code, please bring it so we can get half price tickets!
