What we're about

Hello-

Reciting Your Writing will meet on the first and last Wednesday of every month, 7-8:30 p.m., in Westborough. If you want to share your poetry, essay, short story, portions of a book, lyrics, whatever, please join us. So often, we spend our time creating, revising, or preparing for submission, we forget to simply enjoy our work with other interested writers. There are only 4 rules for the group- one, that the writing you share is your own; two, that all feedback is positive or a question for understanding, this is not a hard critiquing group; three, we limit each member's recitation to no more than 15 minutes (if it's less, that leaves more time for others to share); and four, that we commit to a respectful and fun group. That's it. Well, actually, the meeting space says no outside food or drink, so that's their rule. Please feel free to ask questions, and see you at one of the meetups.
