Had a great time! The guys at the rental place were very polite and helpful, even to those of us not renting.

Leaving for Alaska Sunday, looking forward to joining up with you guys soon, though. This sounds like a great paddle, wishing everyone a wondrous time!

Hi. I'm going to launch just up river at the Sammamish River Park on 102nd Ave Ne. Much easier launch if you already have a boat. Plenty of parking too.

Thanks for the tip Mark. I'm down at point brown at ocean shores yer today, so I can't do this paddle today. Totally worn out from sailing the kayak. We'll have to do the long island paddle yet this summer. For you impromptu kayakers, I live just north of alderwood manor and I don't mind having kayak buddies.

Mark p. What time do you expect to arrive at the sammamish river park? Id like to meet you or someone there. I am a 67 yr young able bodied woman with an inflatable kayak. This sounds like a good idea to launch here instead. If possible it would be nice if I could 1 other person help me get my rubber kayak into the water. Linda

I am doing my first half Marathon just a day before this. So I am a may be, just in case my legs are too sore.

Did a paddle last year after a marathon. You'll be fine! (Just might need someone to hoist you out of the boat at the end. : )

Would join you but have an ocean view room at Ocean Shores Saturday night... taking a kayak to enjoy the ocean bays in the area as well as lounging on the sandy beaches. If anyone wants to join up with me, let me know. Otherwise, I'll catch ya another time. The Sammamish River is a pleasant lazy stroll. Enjoy.
