  • Catalyst Book Club Spring Meeting!

    The Brasserie

Come get your anthro nerd on with us! We will be discussing ‘’Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind’’ by Yuval Noah Harari. Don’t have time to read the book? Don’t worry—come anyway! (We know it’s a little last minute this time).

  • March Madness Catalyst Social!

    Mosaic Restaurant

This is an easy going laid back social event to come meet other young professional people. Take a chance! Show up and start building, or adding to, your personal community. No agenda, no requirements. ...but we can't guarantee we won't have an optional ice breaker of some kind. Recently speaking to a friend in a small town, USA, I asked, "Do you ever wish you lived in the city?" and he replied, "No, because I've built a community here. I have a personal community of friends and that's where I want to be. That's not guaranteed in a big city, in fact it's often harder to build." Creating and having a personal community is important and that is the opportunity Catalyst is providing. Carpe Potestatem! Seize the opportunity! Without knowing exact numbers we couldn't reserve a table or area, so look to the bar or potentially outside if it's available. We look forward to seeing you! You don't have to bring anything and you can come all by yourself.

  • 2018 Redding Beer Week Kickoff Meeting

    CR Gibbs

Planning for the 2018 Redding Beer Week will begin, Tuesday, February 27, from 5:30-6:30pm at CR Gibbs. Join us in the upstairs meeting room in the Best Western lobby. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Redding Beer Week and how to get involved in the planning committee. This committee is open to all Catalyst members. No prior beer knowledge is necessary, but always appreciated. New to volunteering? No problem. Redding Beer Week is perfect for entry level volunteers looking to test the waters of the civic service.
