It's been my long wish to have meetup group where I can get together with friends and enjoy the outdoors doing hiking, yoga, breathing exercises(pranayama), and meditation. Health to me is a holistic concept. It's not just about having a fit body but a healthy mind, and heart. I like yoga to be a combination of physical postures, breathing exercise, and meditation. In my experience when I combine these three aspects of yoga with the energy of being outdoors, it is energizing, calming, and liberating. Especially when followed with a brisk walk or hike, the results can be very beneficial.
This is a women's yoga group for now. Some of you may want to bring your kids. I teach yoga at a local school and specialize in teaching from age 4 to 18. So I will not deny children but please check in with me if your children want to be a part.
We will meet at the Hulda Crooks Park in Loma Linda. It's a beautiful park with lots of greenery, hiking trails, and flat surface for yoga.
We will explore surrounding hiking spots in the future depending on the group consensus.
