Sorry for the additional email but we wanted to give you a heads up on some changes for this weeks meetup. Pek will no longer be presenting, hopefully we can reschedule and get him in soon.
In his place we will have Paul Baker and Billy Belchev of Webitects presenting on "Why Surveys and Focus Groups Don't Work." It looks to be a great presentation. For more details please see the full update at
In addition to the meetup change there are a few events coming up in Chicago we want pass along.
ChicagoWebConf, September 3rd, at the ITA's TechNexus space is a great event with speakers from Orbitz, Groupon, 37 Signals, Typekit and more. Check the full lineup on their website (http://chicagowebconf.org). They are inching their way towards being sold out for the event so if you're interested in attending, please grab your tickets soon.
SocailDevCamp is this weekend and they were kind enough to offer a 20% discount to all Refresh members. If your interested register at http://sdcchi2011.eventbrite.com/ using the code "refreshfriends" today. Sign up for the hackathon as well!
