Are you new to Digital Photography? Were you into photography before and now want to get back into it? Would you like to learn about some of the controls on that new camera you just bought and how to start taking advantage of them? Do you need some help picking out a new camera? Do you just want to take better pictures with the camera you have or even your smart phone? Would you like to learn some basic rules of photography that can immediately increase the quality of your images? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is absolutely the workshop for you.
In all of my classes, I try to meet each student where they are and customize their experience to help them gain the specific knowledge they need in order to take their own photography up a level. However, I understand it can be intimidating to be in a workshop with so many people on so many different levels. So I have set up this workshop up specifically for beginners or for those wanting to start over with photography.
This is also a great introduction to my other workshops. I will still work with each student and meet you wherever you are and help you to gain the most knowledge that you can during this workshop.
To help make that possible, I will be asking each student the following question and then working one on one with each of you to make it happen!
"What are the top three things that you would like to learn in this workshop?"
What to Expect:
In this four hour workshop, we will begin with a classroom style presentation going over all of the items I mentioned above and then some. We will then head out into the field and I will work one on one with each student to make sure that you are "getting" all of the information we went over. I also want to ensure you gain the knowledge of those top things that you came to the classroom wanting to learn.
What You Will Need:
A camera or camera phone
A desire to have fun and have a new spark ignited for photography
About the Instructor:
You can find a lot of information about me in my main website as the following location:
I do a lot of work with Georgia State Parks, the Friends of Georgia State Parks, as well many other related organizations and businesses and am involved in quite a few charities around the state and beyond. On the website listed above, you can learn a lot about what I do and why I do it. :)
While this is a half day workshop, there is another workshop during the afternoon for those who are interested in taking it all one step farther. These workshops are great individually and even better as as set. You can take them separately on different dates if you would like. However, if you take them together on the same day, you can do the second one for half off in price.
The other workshop is located at the following web address.
If you wish to take either class by itself, just RSVP on the page of the class you wish to take, follow the prompts to pay for the class and you will be registered for that one.
If you wish to take advantage of the "Buy One and Get One Half Off" sale, you can do so by going to the following link and RSVPing there, following the prompts, paying the discounted price and you will be set to attend both workshops. There will be a lunch break in between the two classes.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you have through messenger here on meetup or by sending an email to my following address:
I look forward to hearing from you and working with you in the wonderful world of photography!
