NDWA is co-sponsoring community screenings with affiliated domestic worker organizations around the country, together with Participant Media. We're excited to extend this invitation to our members and friends. We hope that you will be able to attend!

Set in the 1970’s, the film chronicles the life of Cleo, an indigenous live-in domestic worker, who cares for a family in the middle-class neighborhood of Roma in Mexico City. Roma is Cuarón’s most personal film to date, and is a tribute to Libo, the domestic worker who worked for his family when he was a child. This film represents a cultural breakthrough for the domestic worker movement and we hope you will share the experience of viewing with us.
Hope to see you there!
