Please Join Get money out of Md for LOBBY NIGHT TO SUPPORT THE DEMOCRACY AMENDMENT RESOLUTION (DAR)
Meet in the House canteen area, which is to the right after you pass security. House Office Building, 6 Bladen St., Annapolis, Maryland. Bring PHOTO ID.
Annapolis Indivisible supports this effort because:
Progressive groups have been fighting some great battles to pass legislation, but this bill, the DAR, is the only one that is about Winning the War.
If we don't reduce the big money influence on elections and politics, our grandchildren will be wondering why we always seemed to lose the big fights and couldn't just "get it done" in our lifetimes. GMOM has been working hard and they have a good chance to make Maryland the sixth state to propose this critical constitutional amendment.
So come on out and give them your support, sign the petition, call your legislators, and let's do it now!

Here is the GMOM invitation: Big money in politics and voter suppression are tools used to make elections unfair and ensure that policies favor wealthy special interests. Please sign this petition to the Maryland General Assembly to fight for the 28th Amendment to overturn Citizens United and affirm voting rights for every citizen. We must show our MD legislators that we want the Democracy Amendment Resolution passed this year. We need your help.
Join us to deliver petitions, thank co-sponsors, whip votes, and demonstrate that Wolf-PAC MD, GMOM, and Maryland citizens are not going away until the DAR is passed. No experience is necessary, as we'll have seasoned volunteers to guide and provide advice. Amazing work has been done by volunteers so far, exemplified by HJ6's hearing on March 10th, but the work is not finished. Help us finish it before the session ends in April!
Wear GMOM t-shirts, Wolf-PAC or regular citizen clothing to make our presence known.
