Say it loud, say it clear: refugees from the 6 countries involved are welcome here after they have been properly vetted and waited the 90 days! With the Trump Administration calling for a new anti-terrorist travel ban, it’s time to support the president and resist the dangerous open boarder policies of the past. It’s time to show up as Americans and make sure refugees, and immigrants are properly vetted. By heading to the airports (or other appropriate meeting spot) to support travel restrictions on the 6 countries involved in the new executive order by our President. . AGENDA Go to your local airport. Get the address and make sure to determine a meeting spot. Don’t have an airport? Your local government building or federal courthouse are also great to show your support for our President. Post your event in your #Resist group. Recruit a few friends and try to go pick them up so they can’t flake on you. If you can, make some signs to bring with you supporting the President. Go to the courthouse with your friends and be ready to stay for awhile. (Make sure to check the weather and be prepared!) If you can, alert the media ahead of time. If you have a little more time, invite local leaders -- this could be refugees or immigrants who see that letting anyone in with no vetting is dangerous. Post about your event on social media using the hashtags
