For many years, in the Wellington Study Group (see link below) we have been exploring ways to live more in the present moment and to come to rest in our true selves.
We would love you to join us for gentle evenings of rest, meditation and reflection held usually the first Wednesday of the month at our beautiful quiet house in Thorndon. These evenings aim to provide a space for us to rest from the turbulent world and be nourished by inspiring readings and good company.
Everyone is welcome regardless of beliefs, religious affiliation or background. The format may vary, but will generally involve meditation (both guided and silent), a reading or two (around themes such as unity and stillness) and possibly some discussion to follow.
Feel free to attend on a casual basis and bring friends along with you.
The evening starts at 7:30 pm, but come earlier for a cup of tea from 7:15 if you'd like. Attendance is free.
