Restarters old and new, it's time to party! In June we're running a Special Restart Party in Camden to celebrate two years of Restarting. We're back to the upstairs room of the wonderful Sir Richard Steele's pub in Belsize Park.
We will be repairing from[masked]pm, then celebrating our achievements so far together with our friends from Transition Belsize. Come early to repair and help repair, but make sure to come and have a toast with us later. Bring snacks, home-made food and cakes to share.
During the Restart Party, we help you learn how to fix all kinds of devices, starting with troubleshooting, advising on spare parts if necessary and more. Take back control of your e-stuff, never feel victim to obsolescence again. Slow laptops, broken printers, smartphones, coffee grinders, you name it. We will have tea for participants and you can buy other drinks from the pub.
Access: there are no lifts to access the upstairs room, so you'll have to use the stairs
Closest tube station: Chalk Farm / Belsize Park on the Northern Line. Closest overground station: Kentish Town West
Please arrive before 7.00pm if you would like help with a repair and remember: we're happy to help for you to learn how to repair. We are not repair professionals, and Restart Parties are a community self-repair space. Attending means that you take responsibility for your own gadget, your own data, so please do not forget to back-up.
