As part of National Get Online Week, we are running a Restart Party in collaboration with Origin Housing.
We also plan on honouring and encouraging women fixers, as October 14 is also Ada Lovelace Day (http://findingada.com/). So if you are a woman Restarter please come!
Take back control of your e-stuff, never feel victim to obsolescence again. Slow laptops, broken printers, smartphones, coffee grinders, you name it. We help you learn how to fix all kinds of devices, starting with troubleshooting, advising on spare parts and more.
We always look forward to welcome new volunteer repairers to join the group and meet the team.
We will have tea and snacks for participants, but don't forget to bring some snacks and home-made food to share with others and repairers
Transport: Drummond Crescent is off Eversholt Street, very near Euston train and tube station. The buses with the nearest stop are 168 and 253.
Please arrive before 9pm if you would like help and remember: we're happy to help for you to learn how to repair. We are not repair professionals, and Restart Parties are a community self-repair space. Attending means that you take responsibility for your own gadget, your own data, so please do not forget to back-up your data.
