Do you have repair skills? If so, what kind? If not, what would you like to learn?

Glad to tackle anything electrical, electronic or computer-related but loathe washing machines and plumbing. My several attempts to fix iPods and iPhones have met with some limited success only, and I'll be glad to exchange tips in this and many other areas.

What inspires you to repair or seek out help repairing?

Hey, I just lurve to find out how things work. And if I can get them back together again working better than when I started, then that's awesome. Let's face it, we're not going to save the planet in Camden and there are hard economic reasons why repairing struggles, but we need to challenge the assumption that mass production/mass disposal is the norm.

Incorrigible tinkerer since age about 6, degree in Electronic Engineering, career in software development and latterly as an Information Security Consultant. Retired since Dec ’13 and keen to pass on enthusiasm, experience and skills.
