Introduction to the SharePoint Framework with Prashant Bhoyar

During the ‘Future of SharePoint” event, Microsoft announced about the new SharePoint Framework, a page and part model that enables fully supported client-side development, easy integration with Microsoft Graph and support for open source tooling. In this session, we will discuss the basic building blocks of the “SharePoint Framework”, the open source tools we can use. Even though “SharePoint Framework” will be released for SharePoint online first and then eventually will be available for SharePoint on-premise customers, we can use the open source tools and some of the modern development techniques in our current implementations.

Pre-requisite: Familiar with SharePoint on Premise and SharePoint online development, JavaScript, REST APIs, CSOM

You will learn:
• What is SharePoint Framework?
• Building Blocks of SharePoint Framework
• Tooling for SharePoint Framework
